The church of the resurrection of the Christ (aka the church on spilled blood) in St Petersburg was build in memory of Tsar Alexander II who was blown up in a terrorist attack 1881.

Again Albert you've achieved here a very eye-catching HDR ! Works well here with this kind of architecture ! I love how HDR gives and adds a fairy mood to reality.

I love this. I presume you have used HDR. If so it is ideal for this subject. The ultra wide angle lens also adds to the shot, giving it real depth and perspective. The subtle colours in the reflections are fantastic. Thanks for sharing this superb shot with us. Peter

Stunning capture, Albert! Lots of detail and color here, along with a perspective that really "draws you in" along that channel.

Magical tone mapping Albert, was it a single RAW or multiples for this one?

11 Jan 2010 8:32pm

@Curly: Thanks Curly. So far I have always used 3 or more RAWs or jpgs. I have never really succeded well with the single RAW tonemapping. As you may see I also used a texture (a wall with bubbly paint) on this image.
